Dear students, graduates of the education system, partners in the journey, I am excited to welcome you to Acadeum, the home of academic excellence in Arab society. We believe that the human capital inherent in our youth is the key to social and economic growth, not only on a personal level – but as a society as a whole.

Education for excellence sets high expectations and challenges, allowing outstanding Arab students to fulfill their dreams and themselves, to realize their skills and receive a real opportunity that will lead society to a better future. The "Matin" network programs place the outstanding student at the center, encourage excellence, innovation, and most importantly, provide a golden opportunity for a quality youth team to excel in STEM studies as early as high school with the goal of continuing to excel in academia and with an emphasis on continuing research and advanced degree studies until integration into the senior academic staff at universities or in the high-tech industry in significant positions. In addition, the transition years from high school to the world of academia are one of the most significant crossroads in your life. This is a moment when potential meets opportunity. Our organization is designed to bridge this gap and provide you with the perfect "toolbox" for success, even before you step foot in your first lecture hall at the university.

Furthermore, outstanding young people from Arab society in the higher echelons of scientific and engineering professions, including academic faculty members and high-tech executives, are significantly underrepresented in the population. There are many reasons for this phenomenon, the main ones being the lack of an adequate response to outstanding individuals, lower mastery of 21st century skills, the challenge of Hebrew literacy, and the lack of networks.

The Academy organization is a bright spot in the informal education system, as it focuses on students and graduates with the potential to excel because they are the ones who will make the difference in the future. The organization's programs include training based on supporting critical thinking and scientific research skills in several fields, especially in the fields of science and engineering, which are expected to have a direct impact on Arab society, and therefore we must enable the means and support outstanding students and graduates and invest in their potential.
